A Complete Guide to Wear Sari Quick,Easy and Perfect

The easy and simple steps shown below will never go wrong...Try a few times if you're new...I'm confident just after a few trials, anyone can wear sari like a pro....Stop depending on others and tie your own sari today!!!!


Step A: Doing Pallu ( Muntaanai)

1. Tuck sari into the petticoat going around your waist once.

2.  Insert black plate of Sari Saheli into the petticoat.

3.  Grab end of pallu.

4. Wrap pallu over Tab1 to make first pleat.

5.  Make remaining 4-5 pleats on pink PLATES.

6.  Allign pleats to make remaining Pallu strip.

7.  Clip the Pallu Strip with both clips.

8.  Pull pleats down to remove from Sari Saheli

9.  Taking Pallu Strip behind your back, set Pallu in desired style.

10.Reuse one of the Clips to clip Pallu to the blouse.

11.Bring remaining sari to the front for Pleat (Kosuvam) setting.








Step B : Pin the Sari tightly 

1.  Bring remaining sari to the front for pleat (Kosuvam) setting.

2.  Pin the remaining sari that was brought forward tightly to petticoat as shown in the video.

Step C : Do Pleats using Sari Saheli

1. Holding all the PLATES up, bring the sari under all the plates.

2. Make pleats by wrapping sari around one of the 3 tabs as shown in the picture.

3. Make remaining pleats on pink PLATES

4. Clip the pleats.

5. Pull pleats down to remove

Step D : Rearrange the pleats

1. After making pleats with Sari Saheli, take the remaining sari that cannot be made pleat OR take the first pleat from top.

2. Make it little bit longer than the rest of  the pleats and tuck it back into the petticoat, just as shown in the video below.
3. Make last adjustments to sari to ensure pallu (muntaanai) is clipped well.
